To cut a long story short, both were fantastic, and we can’t recommend them highly enough. Both were highly professional, always available, and experts in getting the deal done!
Starting at the beginning, when planning the sale of our house we reached out to Carrie based on the excellent presentation and good results of her listings in San Leandro. We felt we had a realistic understanding of the position of property in marketplace and what we were prepared to do in preparation to sell. Carrie understood immediately where we were coming from and how to make it happen. She’s an expert at preparing homes in this market, making many good suggestions that, although they went beyond our starting point, were compelling and definitely paid off in the final analysis. She took charge of most of the prep work, drawing on her local trade contacts, even completing the final touches while we were overseas. In the end, her marketing plan was on point generating a lot of interest, and we went with strong offer that more than met our expectations. And to top it off, she referred us to Gina, with whom we had just as good an experience!
Moving to the middle of the story, we worked with Gina to find our next home in Livermore, seeking more space for our toddler and less commuting. We had a fairly narrow range of price/size/location in mind, and Gina was patient and helpful as we took our time getting a better feel for the market and waiting for the right combination of those parameters to appear. As we visited homes, Gina provided excellent assessments, local knowledge, and even wrangling of a very active toddler to help us evaluate the properties. When the time came to make our first offer in a competitive environment she went the extra mile to suggest ways to make it more attractive to the sellers. After two unsuccessful offers lost to cash and short closing, the three of us were a finely tuned machine when it came to preparing our third (successful!) offer. Gina read the situation perfectly and pushed a strong offer out late on a Sunday night to get the deal done.
